A couple weeks ago were my Spring time “Open Field” 5 minute mini sessions at Shawnee Mission Park here in Johnson County and I ended up diverting from the original spot we were going to focus on (the open field), to a cute little spot just within the tree line as the light coming through the trees was just magical. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky that night so it was a pretty bright evening to begin with, but coming through the trees was just absolutely lovely. I have the most amazing clients who roll with me easily when I was to slightly change plans and I’m so glad ya’ll trust me in the process! Here are a few from the evening, absolutely love how they turned out. And these aren’t even all the images or families we photographed that night. I’m telling you, trust me and give me 5 minutes of your time and your walls will look so pretty in your home full of gorgeous photographs of your family!
This little man was all smiles and so easy to photograph, completely joy!
The youngest in this session is a wild card and she brought her A game to the shoot, and she has the best big sisters!
We even had time for a shot of Mom + Dad at the end!
My 4th year photographing these cuties and they were naturals in front of the camera. We don’t always have time to get individual shots sibling groups but these guys made it a snap. Love how these brothers adore their little sister!
Mom + Dad brought along a 100 year old bench they had their own engagement session on and it was the perfect little addition to this spot. Our 8th session together and these kiddos get sweeter (and goofier!) every time I see them.
