Hi everyone! Sunflowers are almost here, yay! Here’s the basic info you need to know, sessions are booked on a first come first served basis, you will be able to pick your day/time at checkout (keep reading):
Sessions will take place at Grinter’s Farm by Lawrence:
24154 Stillwell Rd Lawrence, KS 66044
Dates/Times offered: (Labor Day Weekend)
SAT Sept 3rd –> 9:00 -10 am | 6-7 pm
SUN Sept 4th –> 9:00 -10 am | 6-7 pm
MON Sept 5th (Labor Day) –> 9-10 am –> 6-7 pm
• Sessions are in 5 minute slots, you will get minimum 3-5 digital images but I always strive for more
• Due to number of sessions offered that weekend, please expect a turn around of 1-2 weeks, where you fall on the spectrum I won’t know but I will be working as fast as I can
• Images are selected by me and will be EMAILED to you, in high resolution via Google Drive, there is no proofing or choosing your images but I pick the best!
**** The farm will be VERY busy with A LOT of photographers there, in order to find me, you will be looking for my husband Daniel with a red helium balloon attached to him. He will stay within view of people arriving and know where I am since I’ll be in the field nearby. PLEASE plan to arrive early to find parking. ***
The farm is a private property farm that every year opens its doors to the public to enjoy the sunflowers. I will be making contributions to the farmers from proceeds I make to show my appreciation. There are donation boxes around the field, if you cut a flower to keep, they ask you to donate $1.
Please be respectful of the field.
Here’s a vintage metal highchair I will have available for babies and toddlers (the tray comes off) to sit in to get them higher off the ground, it’ll be super cute!
In the event of rain… let’s just pray it doesn’t rain. But seriously, we’ll figure it out and get anyone rained out booked to another day/time.
Please write in the notes when checking out if you’re doing family photos (with kids ages), just kids (with ages) or couples, or whomever, so I know what to expect. Thank you!!
Ready, SET, GO!!!!
