One location that anyone who follows my work on social media sees often is definitely outside the Museum at Prairie Fire in Leawood/OP. Since this beauty was built it just begged to be the new favorite for family photos. I’m a sucker for jewel tones to begin with and the building is so gorgeous it looks amazing in ANY season. My favorite time of day to photograph there is the early evening as the sunlight from the West really just makes the color pop when photographing up close (and gives it a golden hue when photographing from a distance). Plus it’s by the shops (my favorite is Made in KC, a speciality store that is everything Kansas City) and the theatre and restaurants, it’s a perfect spot to get in and get out for family photos and still go have some fun after.
My LAST DATE at this location for 2017 is coming up on Wednesday night October 18th between 5-6pm. Perfect for families needing weeknights and a quick get in and out after school/work and before dinner. Don’t miss it!
